Mrs. Shirley M. Savage Corprew, 79, Willards, Md., departed this life Monday, Jan. 4, 2021, at TidalHealth Peninsula Regional in Salisbury, Md. Born in Tasley, she was the daughter of the late Robert Lee Savage Sr. and the late Jeanette Sample Savage. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Rudolph Corprew.
Mrs. Corprew served in the U.S. Army from 1960 to 1962. She retired as a computer data entry specialist from Food Machinery Chemical (FMC) Corporation in Princeton, N.J. She was a devoted and committed member of Union A.M.E. Church in Allentown, N.J.
In 2015, due to illness, Mrs. Corprew relocated to live in Maryland where she loved to attend the Charles & Martha Fulton Senior Center in Snow Hill, Md.
She will be lovingly remembered by a brother, Paul Savage (Barbara); a devoted niece and caregiver, Sarah Diane Kellam; and several other nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by eight siblings, Sarah Wilson, Geneva Townsend, Robert Lee “Sam” Savage Jr., Lillian Hazel Rowley, Kathryn Savage Kellam, Theodore “Buck” Savage, Michael Savage, and Elwood Savage.
