Mr. Norman H. Marshall, 93, of Parksley, departed this life Thursday, Dec. 17, 2020, at Shore Rehabilitation Center in Parksley.
Born in Horntown, Norman was the beloved son of the late Barry Douglas and the late Helen Fletcher. Early in life, he worked at Perdue catching chickens. Later in life, he purchased a truck and began hauling for Perdue Farms.
Private funeral services were held on Saturday, Jan. 9, 2021, at the Chapel of Cooper & Humbles Funeral Co., Accomac, with the Rev. Lavenia Fletcher officiating. Interment was in the Dea’s Chapel Cemetery, Horntown.
He is survived by two sons, Norman Marshall and Albert Johnson; stepdaughter, Lillian M. Ames-Davis; grandchildren, Vanessa Johnson and Michael Johnson; seven great-grandchildren; one brother, Robert Fletcher; and a host of relatives and friends.
Arrangements were by the Cooper & Humbles Funeral Co., Accomac.
