Mr. Terrez K. Walker, 30, of Locust Grove, Va., formerly of the Shore, departed this life on Monday, Nov. 23, 2020, at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Md.
Born in Nassawadox, Terrez was the son of Rebecca Roberts and Donnell Dickerson. After graduation, Terrez joined the U.S. Marine Corps and completed basic training in Paris Island. Staff Sgt. Walker became head of the recruiting station and ran the office from 2017 to 2018. He actively served his country until his diagnosis on May 29, 2019, where he then became part of the limited duty Wounded Warriors attachment in Bethesda.
Graveside services were held on Saturday, Dec. 5, 2020, at the Living Word of Deliverance Cemetery in Parksley, with the Rev. Jazmine Brooks officiating.
Terrez leaves to cherish his memories: wife, Mandy Walker; one daughter, Hayven Mae Leigh Walker; parents, Rebecca Roberts (Thomas Jr.) and Donnell Dickerson (Peggy); three sisters, Sheneka Littleton, Tishiana Walker, and Nylissa Roberts; grandmothers, Ida Walker and Shirley Morton; one uncle, Keith Walker; one aunt, Veronica Morton; father-in-law, Harry Savage; sister-in-law; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and several special friends.
