Mrs. Audrey E. Teague-Coston, 72, of Melfa, transitioned from labor to reward on Saturday, Nov. 28, 2020, at Shore Health & Rehab. Center in Parksley.
Born in Onancock, Audrey was the daughter of the late Junious M. Teague and the late Louise B. Teague. She was affectionately known as “IJ” by her family and friends. IJ met and later married the love of her life, James Coston, on May 17, 1997, who preceded her in death. Audrey worked for Berg Legal Clinic as an office manager until her health began to fail.
Graveside services were held Monday, Dec. 7, 2020, at the Snead’s Memorial U.M. Cemetery, Keller, with the Rev. James S. Nock officiating.
IJ is survived by one sister, Louise Teague-Allen; one brother, Dinel Teague; three nieces; three nephews; one brother-in-law; Robert L. Allen Sr.; two sisters-in-law, Ruth Teague and Cynthia Teague; one aunt, Polly Parker; dedicated caregivers until the end, Leah and Bobby Trader; and a host of other relatives and friends.
