Unofficial Election Results Posted for Northampton

Unofficial voting results have been posted for Northampton County. Results include votes cast on Election Day and early voting ballots.

Results reported election night are incomplete and unofficial. There is an unknown number of mailed ballots that were postmarked by Election Day and are to be counted if received by noon Friday statewide.

In the presidential race, Democratic challenger Joseph R. Biden received 3,643 votes (54.41%) to incumbent Republican Donald J. Trump’s 2,947 votes (44.01%). Libertarian Jo Jorgensen had 99 votes and there were seven write-in votes.

In the race for the U.S. Senate, Democratic incumbent Mark R. Warner received 3,866 votes (58.12%) to Republican challenger Daniel M. Gade’s 2,785 (41.87%) votes. There was one write-in vote.

U.S. House of Representatives, District 2, incumbent candidate Democrat Elaine G. Luria had 3,757 votes (56.39%) to Republican challenger and former U.S. Representative Scott W. Taylor’s 2,755 (41.35%). David Bruce Foster received 148 votes, and there were three write-ins.
