Mr. Samuel Phillip “Sammy” Greene Jr., 74, husband of the late Deborah Leigh Greene and a resident of Hopeton, passed away Friday, April 24, 2020, at Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital with his loving family at his side.
Born Oct. 3, 1945, in Nassawadox, he was the son of the late Samuel Phillip Greene and the late Della Marshall Greene.

He enjoyed going fishing and especially looked forward to riding the back roads, by car or Harley.
He is survived by his children, Phillip L. Greene and fiancé Brandi Pianka, Teresa Smith and husband Jack, Babette Kennovin and husband Neil, all of New Church, Sonny J. Kelly, of Seaford, Del., and Shawn Kelly, of Hallwood; sister, Sally Hickman and Ollie, of Edgewater, Md.; grandchildren, Phillip Jr., Justin, Cody, and Lexi; and several nieces and nephews.
