Mrs. Joan Carol Campbell, 74, of Chincoteague Island, passed away on March 20, 2020, at PRMC in Salisbury, Md.
She was born in Nassawadox, on Dec. 6, 1945, to the late Clarence and Mildred (Crowley) Clark.
She was a member of Union Baptist Church on Chincoteague.
Joan is survived by her loving spouse of 52 years, Robert Campbell Sr.; three sons, George Billy Taylor, of Raleigh, N.C., Tommy Campbell, Jr. and his wife Laurie, of Stockton, Md., and Clarence Campbell, of Chincoteague Island; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and one great-grandchild on the way in September; and several nieces and nephews. She was a great wife, mother, grandmother, and friend who will be missed dearly.
She was preceded in death by her parents, son Larry Campbell, and two infant siblings.
Due to the current situation with the COVID-19 virus, the funeral services will be private graveside limited to the immediate family only.
