Police Seeking Man Who Robbed Parksley Dollar General at Gunpoint

Police are looking for an armed man who robbed the Dollar General store in Parksley on Thursday, Feb. 13, at around 10:35 p.m.

The Accomack County Sheriff’s Office received a report of the robbery, according to Sheriff W. Todd Wessells.

The suspect robbed the clerks, at gunpoint, of an undisclosed amount of money, then fled the scene on foot, according to a press release from the Sheriff’s Office.

No one was injured during the incident.

The Accomack County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Parksley Police Department, the Onancock Police Department, the Onley Police Department, and the Virginia State Police.
