Mr. George Thomas “Tommy” Hall Jr., 78, of Chincoteague Island, passed away Jan. 21, 2020, at his residence surrounded by his loving family.

He was born in Nassawadox, June 12, 1941, to the late George and Ruby Potts Hall. He was a member of Union Baptist Church and an avid antique car collector.

Mr. Hall is survived by his loving spouse of 48 years, Linda Abrams Hall, of Chincoteague; daughter, Chantelle Hall Mason and her husband, Troy, of Chincoteague; brother-in-law, Wayne Abrams and his wife, Trish, of New Church; sister-in-law, Peggy Bradford and her husband, Wesley, of New Church; aunt, Helen Merritt, of Chincoteague; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.    

Funeral services will be held Friday, Jan. 24, 2020, at 2 p.m. with a viewing one hour prior from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. at the Union Baptist Church, Chincoteague, with the Rev. Kevin Eley, officiating. Burial will take place in the Greenwood Cemetery on Chincoteague.
