Mr. Donald Daniel “Don” Dragan, husband of the late Gloria T. Dragan and a resident of Onancock, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2020, at the age of 96. Born Feb. 23, 1923, in Redding, Pa., he was one of seven children born to the late Stephen and the late Naomi Dragan.

Following high school, Don enlisted in the U.S. Navy and was a proud World War II veteran. Over the years Don enjoyed going fishing, his daily newspaper puzzles, and when necessary, a little woodworking. He loved to eat and looked forward to his daily gatherings with friends at local restaurants. Don adored his family and shared a special bond with his grandsons, all of whom will greatly miss his presence.
Don is survived by his daughters, Chandra “Dee” Dragan, of Arlington, Va., and Lori Egan and husband, Peter, of Fredericksburg, Va; grandsons, Daniel T. Egan and Travis J. Egan; step-grandson, Paul Egan; and several nieces and nephews.
