Mrs. Lillian Edmonds, 81, of Parksley, wife of Aubrey Edmonds, passed away Nov. 19, 2019, at Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital in Onancock.
Born Aug. 2, 1938, in Mount Holly, N.J., she was the daughter of the late James and Ethel Thomas Beebe. She was a homemaker, an avid sewer, and a 20-year employee of Wal-Mart.
Other than her husband, Aubrey, Mrs. Edmonds is survived by two sons, Edward and Richard; a stepson, Aubrey Jr.; four daughters, Carole, Gloria, Nina, and Lorrain; 15 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; three sisters; and two brothers.
A funeral service will be held Friday, Nov. 22, 2019, at 2 p.m. at the Thornton Funeral Home, in Parksley, with the Rev. Robert Garris officiating. Interment will follow in the Modest Town Baptist Church Cemetery in Modest Town. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
