Ms. Virginia White Kellam, 85, passed away Oct. 9, 2019, in Nassawadox. She was born Aug. 25, 1934, in Nassawadox, to the late Mabel Isham and Samuel E. White. She was predeceased by her brother, Samuel E. White Jr. Ms. Kellam lived in Eastville all of her life and loved her family dearly and enjoyed preparing meals on Sunday for her brother, Sam.

Ms. Kellam enjoyed working in her yard and garden always producing beautiful flowers every year, in particular, Calla lilies. She loved animals and always saw that the cats and dogs in the neighborhood were well supplied with treats. When not working in the yard, she could be found on her front porch enjoying the beautiful days we have on the Eastern Shore. If Ms. Kellam was your friend, she always looked out for your best interests.

Ms. Kellam worked at the shirt factory in Exmore, until it closed, and Shore Memorial Hospital in the housekeeping department until retirement. She was a member of Eastville Baptist Church.

Funeral services were held Friday, Oct. 11, 2019, from the graveside at Eastville Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Daniel Crockett officiating. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.foxfuneralhomes.com.
