ESCC Foundation Holds 31st Annual Tournament
The Eastern Shore Community College Foundation will host the 31st Annual H.B. Rew Jr. Golf Tournament Friday, Oct. 4, at 1 p.m., at Eastern Shore Yacht & Country Club in Melfa. Youth Sportsfest Shooting Activities
NOAAWIVA Sportsmen Inc. will host the Youth Sportsfest Event Saturday, Sept. 21, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., at  30516 Chincoteague Rd., Oak Hall. Family Fun Day Saturday
The Kiwanis Club of Accomack is sponsoring Family Fun Day Saturday, Sept. 21, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.  The event will be hosted by the Eastern Shore Family YMCA and will help celebrate the 20th anniversary of the family center in Onley. It’s an event that supports the idea that kids and families benefit by play and that exercise can be fun. The event is open to everyone. All proceeds benefit the Kiwanis Bring up Grades program and the ESYMCA water safety program.
A variety of activities will be offered throughout the day, providing participants of all ages to learn and take part in fun-filled activities.

Youth Flag Football
The Accomack County Parks and Recreation will host Youth Flag Football practice and sign-ups on Saturday, Sept. 21, starting at 9 a.m. at the Saw Mill Park in Accomac. Age groups are 5-8 and  9-12. For more information, contact the Parks and Recreation office at 787-3900 or Mr. Burton at 710-1947.

Accomack County Parks & Rec Holds Kickball League
The Accomack County Parks and Recreation Department is organizing a kickball league at the Saw Mill Park in Accomac. The league is for adults age 18 and over. Contact the Parks and Recreation office at 787-3900 or Mr. Burton at 710-1947.

NHS Homecoming and Parade
Northampton High School homecoming committee will host a homecoming parade on Friday, Sept. 27, at 5 p.m. and the homecoming game at 7 p.m. If a group would like to participate, contact Ivory Turner at [email protected]. The group may walk, have a float, ride a car, bike or golf cart.

Accomack County Parks & Rec Co-Ed Softball League Results
The Accomack County Parks & Recreation Co-Ed Softball League concluded its season. The King & Queens team, coached by Mr. Addison Matthews, won the regular season title with a 9-3 record over second place Fisher Electric, under the leadership of Taylor Lewis, who sported a 8-4 record. In the tournament championship, the King & Queens teams held off a tough Neon team, 21-15. Final standings were: King & Queens, 9-3; Fisher Electric, 8-4; Neon, 7-5; Basic, 4-8; and Unbeatables, 3-9.
