Mr. Clifton “Kippy” Edward Moore, 85, husband of Rose Ann Moore of 61 years, a resident of Keller, and a member of His Way Fellowship church, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Saturday, Sept. 7, 2019 at his youngest daughter’s home.

He was born May 29, 1934, in Cape Charles. He was the son of the late James Jackson Moore and Maggie Lee Moore. He was a beloved husband, father, and Poppop. His passion was being a witness for God and spending time with his family. He also loved his walks and his sweets. He was a great story teller and advice giver. He graduated from Cape Charles High School, Class of 1951. He worked for the Chesapeake Bay Ferry Commission for over 15 years prior to working for the Conrail Railroad for 30 years, where he retired as a conductor.

He is survived by his wife, Rose Ann; two daughters, Teresa Vincent (Ray), of Laurel, Del., and Lisa Merritt (Chris), of Cape Charles; eight grandchildren, Erin (Don), Shannon (Jose), Haley, Josh, Noah, Laura, Jonah and Nathaniel; and four great-grandchildren, Elijah, Keely, Adeline and Lottie. He was predeceased by five brothers, Floyd, Bill, Melvin, Jim, and Bobby; a sister, Minnie; and a grandson, Geoffrey.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, Sept. 15, 2019, at 2 p.m. at Full Gospel Church in Cape Charles, with the Rev. Randy Lewis and the Rev. Richard Bradford officiating.
