Mr. David Wright, 77, of Temperanceville, passed away Aug. 25, 2019, at his residence. Mr. Wright was born in Baltimore, Md., Sept. 11, 1941, to the late Melvin and Gladys (Marriott) Wright.
Mr. Wright was a husband, father, stepfather, educator, coach, and captain.
Mr. Wright is survived by his loving spouse of 20 years, Donna Helton Wright, of Temperanceville; daughter, Kasey Emory Wright, of Sykesville, Md.; two stepsons, Cory Pashkowitz and his girlfriend, Sarah Justis, of Atlantic, and Wade Louis Pashkowitz, of Owings Mills, Md.; fur babies, Skye and Zoie; niece, Chris Graham; and nephew, Herbie Graham.
Mr. Wright was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Shirley Belt; and brother, Billy Wright.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Aug. 31, 2019, at 2 p.m. with a viewing an hour prior from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. at the Chincoteague Church of God, Chincoteague, with Pastor Kevin Stanley officiating. Burial will take place in the John W. Taylor Memorial Cemetery in Temperanceville.
