Mr. Francis Carlisle Hall, 83, of Parksley, husband of the late Joanne Smith Hall, died peacefully July 24, 2019.
Born Nov. 13, 1935, in Accomack County, he was the son of the late Fred Hall Sr. and the late Nannie Lankford Hall.
Mr. Hall farmed most of his life on the family farm in Hallwood until starting F.C. Hall Farms, Inc. He was a generous man who enjoyed life to the fullest. He worked hard all of his life until he had to retire completely to devote his time for the care of his wife during her battle with Alzheimer’s. He will be greatly missed by his many friends at the Club Car in Parksley.
Mr. Hall is survived by his daughter, Theresa Crockett, of Hallwood; daughter, Debbie L. Berkhimer, of Virginia Beach, Va.; son, Frankie C. Hall, of Hallwood; nephew, Benny Hall Sr., of Hallwood; niece, Rachel H. Fisher, of Davidson, N.C.; and devoted friends, Sam and Linda Brown, of Parksley.
A graveside service was held July 28, 2019, from the Groton’s Cemetery in Hallwood with the Rev. Jimmy Maddox officiating.
