Mr. Morgan Thomas Ridington Sr., 91, of Melfa, passed away June 4, 2019. He was born in Conshohocken, Pa., the fourth child of Lawrence and Claudia Ridington. He was a graduate of the class of 1946 from Conshohocken High School. In 1949, he was married to Marie Florence Hall, also of Conshohocken.

He followed his three brothers in military service with the U.S. Navy and was honorably discharged in 1952. He began his employment with the Lee Tire and Rubber Company, after which Mr. Ridington was invited to join a new venture, A-S-H Molded Products, in Malvern, Pa. He spent the balance of his professional career at A-S-H, retiring from the position of company president. Afterward, he retired to the Eastern Shore of Virginia where he enjoyed golf, boating, and social activities. One of his thrills in retirement was scoring two aces at the Eastern Shore Yacht and Country Club.

Mr. Ridington is survived by his brother, Orrin; his daughter, Lori; and son, Tom and his wife, Meridith. He also leaves four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, Marie, in 2009.

Mr. Ridington’s children invite all to join them for a remembrance open house to be held in the parish hall at St. George’s Episcopal Church, in Pungoteague, Saturday, July 13, 2019, from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m.
