Mrs. Marion Ewell Holland, 85, wife of the late Russell Paige Holland, of Hopkins, passed away May 16, 2019, at Snow Hill Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Born April 18, 1934, in Hunting Creek, she was the daughter of the late Waldon Ewell and Flossie Cooper Ewell. Mrs. Holland worked for many years at the Parksley Drug Store. She was also a member of Calvary United Methodist Church in Hunting Creek.

Mrs. Holland is survived by a son, Bryon Holland and wife, Marsha, of Onancock; four grandchildren, Erica Holland Vaughn and husband, Joshua, and their son, Gage, of Greenbackville, Chris Jarmon, of Fruitland, Md., Kevin Lattimore, of Crisfield, and Ashley Lattimore, of Crisfield; and several great-grandchildren.

Other than her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Sandra Lattimore.

Funeral services were conducted Sunday, May 19, 2019, from the graveside of the Parksley Cemetery in Parksley with the Rev. William Jefferson officiating.

Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to a local charity of one’s choice.

Arrangements were made by the Thornton Funeral Home in Parksley.
