Mr. Robert Keith Pruitt, 60, husband of Ginger Clark Pruitt and a resident of Cedarview, passed away Monday, April 1, 2019, at Heritage Hall Healthcare in Nassawadox. A native of Hacksneck, he was the son of the late Robert S. Pruitt and the late Dorothy Parks Pruitt. Mr. Pruitt was a working waterman.
In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by two children, Cassie P. Simmons and her husband, Brian, of Melfa, and Dallas Pruitt, of Cedarview; a sister, Pam P. Lloyd and her husband, Jeff, of Hacksneck; two grandchildren, Kaiden Stokes and Jasmine Simmons, both of Melfa; a niece, Christina Lloyd, of Hacksneck; and a nephew, Jacob Lloyd, of Hacksneck.
A Celebration of Life service will be conducted Saturday, April 6, 2019, at 2 p.m. at Evergreen United Methodist Church with the Rev. Jonathan Carpenter officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Doughty Funeral Home to assist the family with funeral expenses.
