Mrs. Suzanne Somers Killmon, 78, wife of the late Milton Garland “M.G.” Killmon Jr. and a resident of Wallops Island, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2019, at Heritage Harbour Health and Rehabilitation Center in Annapolis, Md.
Born July 21, 1940, in Virginia Beach, and reared in Melfa, she was the daughter of Mrs. Killmon the late Charles Clifton Somers and Elsie Covill Somers. Mrs. Killmon was a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church.
Survivors include her son, Keith Killmon and his wife, Jo Ann, of Annapolis, Md.; granddaughter, Karen Lalonde and her husband, Geoff, of Hertford, N.C., and their sons, Jason and Dylan; special daughter, Amy Sue Carlson and her husband, David, of Newport News, VA., and their sons, Gabriel and Nathaniel; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her beloved husband and parents, she was predeceased by her sons, Charles Stedman Killmon and Kevin Robert Cayer Killmon.
A private memorial service and Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
