Veteran Spotlight

Eastern Shore, meet Ernest O. Douglas, of Parksley. Douglas is a retired Army Sergeant Major veteran. His duty stations included Ft. Jackson, S.C., Ft. Leonard Wood, Mo., Ft. Knox, Ky., and William & Mary University ROTC. He also served abroad in Vietnam, Thailand, and two tours in Germany. He served from 1962 to 1990. He is a graduate of the U.S. Army Sergeants Major Academy class 30 and worked security for NASA for 22 years. Douglas enjoys taking pictures as a novice photographer.
