Mrs. Hannah Coffman Cobb, 96, wife of the late Robert A. Cobb and a resident of Onancock, passed away Saturday, Dec. 1, 2018, at her residence. A native of Onancock, she was the daughter of the late Hobert Coffman and the late Susie Campbell Coffman. She was a retired nurse, member of Onancock Volunteer Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary and Onley Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Linda Sue Truitt and her husband, Eddie, of Pungoteague; special niece, Ida Lynn Nottingham and her husband, Steve, of Exmore; special daughter-in-law, Anesia Cobb Smith and her husband, J.E., of Pungoteague; six grandchildren, Tammy Truitt (Newman Scott), of Onancock, Kelly Truitt Young, of Hacksneck, Mandi Revelle (Trae), of Hallwood, Kelsie Cobb, of Pungoteague, Hunter Cobb (Baylee Justis), of Ft. Bragg, N.C., and Jake Smith, of Pungoteague; four great-grandchildren, Grace Young, Ramsey Revelle, Gavin Revelle, and Mason Young; numerous nieces and nephews; and special neighbors, Sonny and Linda Shrieves. She was predeceased by two sons, Billy Cobb and Bobby Cobb; and a grandson, Will Cobb.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, Dec. 8, 2018, at 11 a.m., at Onley Baptist Church with the Rev. John Burr officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview Lawn Cemetery. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Riverside Shore Hospice P.O. Box 615 Onley, VA 23418.
