Mr. Carl Patrick Esposito, 62, husband of the late Shirley Lankford Esposito and a resident of Pocomoke, Md., formerly of St. Augustine, Fla., passed away Sunday, Nov. 18, 2018, in Hebron, Md. 

A native of Edison, N.J., he was the son of the late Rosemarie and Daniel Esposito. After leaving New Jersey, Mr. Esposito and his parents moved to the Eastern Shore of Virginia where they resided in Silver Beach. He then married the love of his life, Shirley, on June 12, 1982. Mr. Esposito had the greatest time of his life when he was living in Silver Beach. He had a beautiful wife, three children, and some amazing friends. The crew were regulars at The Hideaway Restaurant in Silver Beach. Mr. and Mrs. Esposito were known for throwing the best parties for family and friends. In the early 90s, they packed up and moved to St. Augustine, Fla., where he took a job as a dockmaster at the municipal marina for 20 years until his retirement. Mr. Esposito then moved to Pocomoke, Md., to be closer to family. 

He is survived by three children, Gerlina Strawser and husband, Matt, of McCoy, Fla., Jayne Drummond and husband, Prince, of Exmore, Anthony Esposito and wife, Kelsey, of Hebron, Md.; grandchildren, Scott Kelly, of Sixmile, S.C., Ashlie Reilly, of Pickens, S.C., Chris Elliott, of Phoenix, Ariz., Dwayne Sample, of Exmore, and Carter and Lily Esposito, of Hebron, Md.; great-grandchildren, Alex Kelly, Scotty Kelly and Mia Kelly; brother, Matthew Sexauer, of Belle Haven; brother-in-law, Marvin Smith, of Snow Hill, Md.; and his lifelong friend, Jeff Roderman. 

There will be a private memorial service held on Dec. 1, 2018.
