Description:
Position provides for overall management of a community-supported arts school. Plans, directs and oversees the work of the school, staff and volunteers. Ensures the school offers a high quality arts program, manages class scheduling, instructor recruitment, oversees PR and marketing, performance events, grant administration, fund raising, community outreach and annual budget preparation. Works closely with Board members to achieve organization’s mission and goals. Successful candidates possess experience in managing non-profit organizations, supervisory skills, excellent written and verbal skills, fund-raising and grant writing experience, event planning and project management, and a comprehension of Microsoft Office software, QuickBooks and excellent organizational skills.
